Birthdays and a fun weekend

So this past weekend several of my pod mates and I went to Iowa City for several reasons. The first being to celebrate Jess' birthday- granted we picked Iowa City not for the reason most might assume, but because we wanted to go line dancing in Swisher, IA!! We went to "Dance Mor" yup- that's how it's spelled!!! We had a great time and got shown up by everyone there!! But we still had fun and I learned one more line dance to add to my small repertoire!

We also ate dinner at Texas Roadhouse before hand- so the theme for Friday was cowboy!! The picture is Jess after we sang "Happy Birthday" at the top of our lungs!! she was slightly embarrassed...

Saturday's theme was Wedding!!- Jess is getting married next December so we went shopping for bridesmaids' dresses. We eventually found one that everyone is happy with. I'm excited, especially with the colors- navy blue and silver. Then we went to lunch at a noodle cafe! It was super yummy.

Needless to say, the weekend was a great chance to relax and now.. the week of stress begins.. but it's going well so far!!
