CBS Early Show
So on Monday morning- Harry Smith came to Central College in Pella to cover the Iowa caucuses. So 5 of my friends and I went to the live broadcast at 5am!!! Harry Smith graduated from Central, so that is why he came back and chose to broadcast from our student center. It was fun- we got to cheer a lot and listen to him talk on the air and ask questions inbetween times...Mike Huckabee also came and I got to shake his hand!! So here is the link to a quick video from Smith's tour of Central College and brief shot on the Huckabee interview! One of the ladies from town that was interviewed made Harry an "H" for him and "CBS" out of dutch letters.. that's pretty special since they normally only make "S"!
It was an early morning.. and a long day, but the last week of classes is almost over.
Next week- finals and then home for a month of nothing to do!! (yeah right.. i need to do some reading and grad school research... and celebrate christmas!)
